Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), referred to as UHPC, refers to the general term for cement based composite materials with compressive strength above 150MPa, ultra-high toughness, and ultra-long durability.

02. Material properties and characteristics
Ultra high performance concrete is an ultra high strength cement based material with high strength, high toughness, and low porosity.
Its basic formulation principle is to minimize the internal defects (pores and microcracks) of the material by improving the fineness and activity of the components, without using coarse aggregate, in order to achieve ultra-high strength and durability.
1) High strength
The maximum compressive strength can reach 810Mpa, because the technological level of each country varies greatly. For UHPC, the minimum compressive strength is also required to reach above 150Mpa, and the shear resistance is required to reach above 25Mpa
